It's perfect! Exactly what I wanted and works for the use case I have. It's got regular mechanical keys so I have some custom keycaps on there that I love. I got tons of tabs open while I copy from StackOverflow, so this my config:
1. List of recently pasted items
2. Copy
3. Paste
4. "Zoom mic mute/unmute" and "slack show new messages"
5. Close tab
6. Rotary Encoder to spin back and forth through my tabs
It's great that the settings are stored on the device, so If I plug it into my other computer, everything transfers over.

I have connected the GB3 to a Raspberry Pi which displays Pre-Flight information on a big tv-screen at my local flying club. Using the macropad, we can switch between browser tabs with weather/pilot briefing information and scroll on the pages. Works great!

The GB3 is a macropad that has 3, 5, or 7 key options, with a knob too. This kno can be pressed down and rotated for clicks too. The macropad works with vial, giving you the option to be able to customize all the clicks and rotations with ease. Having the rotary dial is amazing. It is very tactile rotation so you can feel every last twist of that dial. What is also nice is how you can mount this nifty device. You can have one on a monitor, under a desk, and some people have mounted these under speaker stands. I currently own 2 of these macropads, one being all for music and video controls, and another is for premiere pro. Being able to use this for any single thing you want is super amazing. 10/10 would recommend this to all my friends and family.

What a cute little addition to the desk. Most of my keyboards don't have a rotary encoder, so this volume knob really is fantastic! The buttons work great for muting discord, pause/play media, calculator, etc... When I first got it, I immediately made one a shut down button (I heavily don't recommend this LOL). Absolutely worth the purchase. Now I'm buying one for my daughters desk :)

I absolutely love this little macro pad. It is great to be able to stick it right under my monitor stand and have quick access to an application switcher (this is what I have been using it for). The nob is much higher quality than I had anticipated as well it feels really good both the feel of the nob itself but also the turning of the nob.
Overall, an extremely well-made product all I wish is that I had heard about Pikatea and their products sooner!

As a user of a 65% keyboard without dedicated function keys, this little widget allows me to map the five function keys I use most, which is most convenient. And it's got a twisty knob, which everyone needs. There was an issue with my kit order involving a missing part, but Jack had it all sorted promptly and satisfactorily. The build quality, aesthetics and layout is great, and I mean it is really great. The firmware is super simple and intuitive to use and gives a ton of possibilities for the macro pad! I just love it.
The only thing that is not as I was expecting (everything else exceeded my expectations) is how the knob works:
The rotary encoder is firm and snappy when you turn it, but when you start dialing to the opposite direction, the first step in the opposite turn will will not be registered. I think the very first step is needed for the rotary encoder to pick up the direction change, physically.
I noticed this when I assigned the knob left-right turn to the left-right arrow keys for video editing. So when I am stepping frames with the knob, it works perfectly as if I were pressing the arrow keys. But when I want to make steps back and forth, to get this action:
>back-forward-back-forward-forward-forward<
I have to make these turns on the knob:
>left-left-right-right-left-left-right-right-right-right<
Having said that, I believe this is a component issue and pikatea is not really to blame. This is a very obscure issue and the attention to detail shows up in every other elements and aspects of the product. I highly recommend purchasing a 5 keys + knob macro pad (I have with jade switches, amazing feeling) for any general editor or software development workflow or other purposes!

This is a great product - it works exactly as expected and is easy to configure. The only thing I would suggest would be to include a cover for the back of the item, because otherwise the PCB is exposed and is at risk of damage.

My 5-button Macropad GB3 is a great addition to my toolkit! I use it primarily for video editing, scrubbing the timeline in Adobe Premiere and for scrolling through large PDF files I need for production. Setup of macros and key-commands was way simpler than I thought with the pre-loaded VIAL software. The GB3 is already indispensable for my work setup!

I couldn't quite do one of the things I wanted directly: update the volume of a remote "Spotify Connect" device but that was a Spotify thing and I managed to create a flow with Vial on Windows that works for me.
Build quality is really good, feels like it will last forever.
Mine was international shipping and I had to pay some extra upon arrival when UPS delivered, FWIW.

Bought as a selector switch for under my desk to switch audio devices, volume control, and various other macros. The Vial software they tell you to use on the site is easy to setup. There is also a label on the mounting bracket that gives you all the information about the part (such as keyswitch used).
As shown in the picture, I purchased the 'pacman' keycaps; which adds a bit of style to the switches. Shipping was on time as well.
Overall, I am very happy with my purchase as this is a very solid product.

as soon as I mounted this on my workbench desk it was obvious how handy this is. much easier to change the tunes while I work. hotkeys are controlling different music sources I can swap between. build quality is downright amazing. very sturdy and clicky. best pc-based volume knob I have ever used. will be ordering another (different color version) to go with my inside computer soon!

Really install and you can customize it further to your liking with different switches if you de solder or buy the bare bones kit. My kit ultimately ended up with some lubed and filmed tangerines.

Exactly what I needed! 3 switches, one for mute/unmute my zoom audio, one for start/stop the video and one to lock my PC, plus the volume control. I absolutely love it. I’ll probably replace the keycaps with some black ones.
