VIAL is open source software that enables compatible keyboards to be reprogrammed very easily. After flashing the firmware, connect the device, open VIAL and press "refresh" to start configuring.
Pikatea Macropad GB2
Standard Pikatea Firmware (Version 1.2.2 - 2/15/2021)
The firmware that ships with the device. It utilizes the SD card to dictate what each button will do.
Version 1.2.2 adds the ability to adjust the sensitivity of the encoder and further adjust the sensitivity with deej. Version 1.2.2 also adds more buttons and actions that can be used. Use this starter Config.txt file with the new version

VIA Compatible Firmware (Version 1 - 12/29/2020)
VIA is software that enables compatible keyboards to be reprogrammed very easily. You'll need the keymap file for VIA to read the macropad. An optional layout file is provided to help get you started as well.
VIA does not support changing what the knob does, by default it controls volume.
